Well, my friends at the Fort Myers News-Press are at it again — allowing stupid, sloppy work to be published on their Web site, for all the world to see. Today’s contribution has no byline.

But, the shoddy writing doesn’t stop at the headline, unfortunately. This particular writer has not only made a typo in the head, they have also confused the abbreviated “et cetera” (etc.) with the abbreviated “incorporated” (Inc.). Other assorted punctuation flaws can also be found here.
The center needs financial assistance, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter and jelly, canned fruits and vegetables Inc.
